House blocks are very popular in patchwork and this collection of houses makes a wonderful theme for a quilt celebrating village life. Some tree and kiosk blocks between the houses provide additional interest to the design, as do a scattering of decorative buttons. The quilt uses fabrics from the Village Life collection, with its blenders and extras, plus some fabrics from the Poppyseed Basics, Brie Basics and Creating Memories ranges. This quilt features warm autumnal shades contrasting with a charcoal background, but there is a second quilt in cooler, more wintery colours on a putty-coloured background.
